"Pat and I would rate O'Neil Construction 10 on a scale of 1-10 with 10 being excellent. We had our driveway regraded with more drainage along the sides and pipes placed under the driveway where water could be diverted. A good base of gravel was put down with a top layer of SurePac on top . The estimate was well detailed listing exactly what would be done. The estimate was discussed with Pat and I and explained well answering all of our questions. They were prompt in the estimate and when they came to do the job, the two men worked taking very little breaks, operated the equipment very well and were very professional toward us. As they worked, they suggested changes and discussed them with us. They did more than was on the contract. The men estimated that it would take about three days and they were done in a little over three. Based upon our experience, we recommend O'Neil Construction with no reservations. -Pat and Richard"

"There is a reason these guys have a 5.0 rating! We just had our culvert replaced last year in Richmond by O’Neil excavation. With the recent heavy rain and flash floods our culvert held strong even with rain rushing up and over the culvert and washing out our entire road. In 20 years the town has never seen that much rain on our road and even mentioned how well the culvert was made to handle that much water. It took the town 4 days to repair the road but our culvert held strong. All thanks to the hard work from O’Neil excavation! I can’t thank you guys enough!- Andrew"

"Two years ago, the septic system at my lakeside home desperately needed to be modernized. David came to evaluate conditions, called in an engineer to design the proper system, and followed up with all required permits and inspections throughout the process. He and his son performed all the site work, including removal of a paved driveway which had delivered excess rainwater and snow melt-off into my basement for years (that project uncovered an additional ancient septic tank!) Matt recommended recycled asphalt for the new driveway surface, which is permeable and friendlier to the environment near water - no basement water problems since! They finished with a seeded spray lawn cover, and were even able to leave part of an old rock retaining wall by my garage to minimize the changed appearance overall. In spite of additional work and complications during the process, my final bill was not much higher than the original estimate. I trust and appreciate the quality of technical knowledge, service and attitude from this family business, including Janelle's office support. I highly recommend this team. - Donna"
